Can the devs comment on the "realm divide" thread I made? Allowing the AI to be more aggressive towards any player getting to close to victory, or even allying with each other against the top player, would completely eliminate the mop of phase of 4x and turn it into something much more exciting. Perhaps a simple increased aggression modifier and an increased priority to ally would accomplish it.

It would be great if a dev could chime in on this too ;) Honestly, fixing the mop up phase, a common problem with most 4x games, would give a game of galciv 3 SO MUCH more longevity. You no longer have that point in the middle of a game where it just starts snowballing in your favor with no return. Pshaw? Frogboy?

I was thinking that it would be great for making the endgame interesting if the AI's turned on whichever player was closest to any of the victories. It could be a severe negative on diplomatic relations, so much so that unless you're allies or really close friends, it's pretty much close to or outright war declarations. This would slowdown the steamrolling of the AI and the "mop up" phase would get more interesting by fighting a galaxy united against you. This cou

As silly as it sounds to some of you, I almost never won wars in Galciv 3. I finally have and am approaching the age of war era in tech. I'm about 3rd-4 in everything except first in raw production and economy. No AI have been knocked out and I'm wondering if I've delayed too long to take someone out. I fought the Krynn and Yor off and sued for peace but am not sure how to mop up the map. What do you guys usually do at this stage? Sorry if I'm being vague, I just do

I'm not sure if I'm making a research focused or manufacturing focused planet, should I dedicate tiles to population too? Does that factor in much? What's the balance in your opinion? Also, should I have a single big influence planet or make consulates on all of my planets? How will my influence spread fastest? (not counting starbases)

I was looking at the graph and it was spiking to be multiples of what the other races were putting out, perhaps 3-4 times as much. No one was anywhere close to their output. I can't fathom how the heck this is happening since I was dedicated a significant number of planets to research. They had like 700 points on the graph while veryone else was hovering around 2-300.

Hi, I'm not sure if this post was seen so let me reiterate my concern. I bought the dlc and am enjoying the precursor worlds, but what bugs me is that the AI does not seem to pursue the precursor anomalies. It almost seems like I'm cheating if I have access to such things and they don't. Am I looking at this the wrong way?

So I research point defense and I see a bunch of ship templates with point defense. Next I research shields and now all the displayed ship options only shields. But I still need to make a few ships with point defense! Do I now have to manually go through and create point defense ships? Why can't I just see the good enough templates for it that were available before everything turned to shields?
Naselus is awesome, and I'm ready to write my review now.
People like you are the reason why I think democracy is a failure. Entitled, whiny, hypersensitive babies. @Frogboy I made sure that I put in a good review on Steam for all the stardock games I have just to balance out the idiots hindering your design decisions. They play for over a hundred hours and then have the gall to post a negative review. Galciv 3

Seriously, this is why I hated all those whiners about bringing back the wheel. BS cheese shit that lets you have insane results. It seems like a lack of options for strategy. Just ultra specialize each planet and wheel away. Fucking boring. I'll be getting the dlc because I love this game but I need to emphasize how much I want more Ai tweaks to diplomacy. The parking your entire army in my sector for no reason is pissing me off. And since I want to
Quoting tilyas89, reply 5 I'm sorry if I missed it, but is the problem where the Ai parks a ton of ships in my zone addressed in any other way than the get off my lawn request? In the last patch, even if I was on good terms, they'd just keep a bunch of ships parked in my space.
