Hey Jafo there is no need to yell at me. Thats half the reason I switched and why I only come here once in awhile anymore. I expected a much different response from you. All you guys need to reread my previous post. i am not mad, just perplexed. I do stick to my original statement. Windozzzze is not for me. It is a opinion, so why did you you yell at me? I was trying to support you Jafo but I am not so sure anymore.

"I've tried 5 times now....I guess it shows just how idiotic the Mac world really is" Hey Jafo, before you tell me to read post 63 I would just like to say I take offense to what you said but I forgive you. On the other hand I have been attacked more than once for using a mac. Sorry, I just think they are are better than Windoze. No hard feelings. I hate it when people rip stuff off.

you have to exit all the other apps before you can kill messenger, but XP starts it next time you start the computer unless you do what Fuzzy says. Those pop ups go right though messenger.

That killed it, thanks. Hey Sig101 you wrote: The messenger service has nothing to do with IE or Outlook Express. Yes it does. go to your taskbar and right click thewindows messenger icon next to the clock and try to exit out of it. It will tell you that it can not exit because sevseral programs including IE, outlook, outlook express are dependant on messenger.

I know it is not the IM service. I do not use the IM service, I dislike chatting or chat rooms. Message boards are better. I am running bullguard firewall and Norton firewall. The messages coming through are coming from messenger because it says "messenger service notice" at the top. I can't turn off the messenger sertvice witout turning of internet explorer and outlook. I have tried MSCONFIG to turn off messenger completly but XP just starts it up anyway.

Every time I disable it, It just comes back when I start IE. Someone told me to turn off something in the control panel under sevices or something like that. Can't remember. It was in another thread.

SS I agree with you. I can find dozens of negative comments on the message boards that the person who made them wasn't held accountable. It's funny that this little three lettered word causes so much trouble. Get real. others have cussed, been warned, and still cus. Some people have done personal attacks more than once and they are still here. And then there's the people who advertise here or display waraz sites but they haven't been exiled either. If this three lettered word causes thi

Who cares what Kona Did? You guys need to QUIT taking stuff out of porportion. I'm sick of it. So heres what Kona's gonna do: Laugh at every one who has a PC and gets that "Blue creen of Death" because Kona has a G4 Mac now. And Kona is gonna run XP on it. Two words: Unix based. BTW why is everyone yelling at me? I never attacked anyone here. Grow up people.

I'll say it again. I've NEVER used the word "gay" in any of my posts decides this thread. A little admin policing never hurt anyone. This is a family site.
