Thanks for all the help guys. I'll fire off an email to support.

I'm using Sunbelt (formerly Kerio) personal firewall. There are no listings for OD to be blocked, and it won't launch with the firewall on or off. Windows firewall is off as well. This is basically the same setup I have at work where OD is running like a champ. I wish there were some kind of debug log or something where I could track what is actually preventing OD from launching.
I do have all files and extensions shown. YZDock is on this machine, but it's also on the machine where OD installs and runs perfectly fine. I always make sure it is not running when installing and attempting to run OD.
Sorry it took so long to get back to this, I was out of town for a few days. I ran the Zapper, rebooted, ran CCleaner, archived and restored and still nothing. This was a seamless process on the work machine, it ran the first time. I'm not quite sure what is wrong with my home machine. I'm sure a fresh install of Windows would fix this, but it is not a route I'm willing to take right now.
OK, uninstalled, ran CCleaner, rebooted, then installed OD from Stardock Central. There is no entry in either Startup folder, OD still won't launch, and there is still no cache folder. I'm kind of at a loss here and wonder if this isn't just one of those weird cases where it's just not going to work.
The original install was from the stardock website (technically hosted on download.com if I remember correctly). No download manager and I'm using Firefox as my browser. One iteration of install/uninstall did involve me downloading OD from filehippo, then updating it through Stardock Central which resulted in the same results. When I get home tonight, I will try downloading form Stardock Central and installing it. I seem to recall OD not being in the startup folder, but I'll check
That folder doesn't exist (I navigated to it by hand, since it doesn't actually run out o f the run box without quoting the above string). OD has never completely launched on this machine and I suppose the cache isn't created until the application actually gets to run. I do appreciate all of the help and hope I can find a solution to this problem.
OS is Windows XP. This is ObjectDock 1.9 Free. Tried it with no antivirus turned on, same results.
Having a small problem with OD on my home computer. I install the program, try to launch it, see the CPU spin for a second, process shows up in process list, then just dies with no errors or notifications. Nothing in the Event Viewer either. Same thing when trying to run from command line. I've run CCleaner on the registry, reinstalled, uninstalled, rebooted, and so on to try to get this working. At work, I installed it, and it ran just fine. I'm trying to convert from YzDock on all my mac
