One of the things i have liked about this forum is, most of the people who lurk here, including brad, are avid 4x gamers, who have, like grifman said, not had the need to bash other games to justify their choices, which is definitely refreshing. From what i gather, you need SDC online to get new updates for the first time and then use SDC like you would say WINZIP or other archivers to archive and restore the updates. For e.g. when we archive, it might end up as say X.SDC, which we burn to a cd, take it another machine and restore it using SDC. @Toothless-OMO - i can understand your concern, but I cannot think of a more straight forward way of doing this.
