No they wouldn't. He'd be so depressing people would stay out of galactic affairs and deal with local issues, where they didn't have to listen to him depress them. Unless they lived next to the real president they would never even think about looking for him. What better distraction then one you just don't want to even think about, it's just too depressing

I thought there were six books? And my copy is missing Not sure I'd want Marvin for president, although he can't be any worse then who we have now, and he'd be a whole lot better then Zaphod

I answered in the other article, but I can answer over here as well You can delete the picture off the server you put it on (making sure to keep a copy on your computer to put back up later). This will put broken graphic links in the sidebar, but will be a work around until you can get into the my account area. This link

Not sure why you can't get to the my account options, but if you were to delete the picture from the server it is on (making sure to keep a copy on your computer for replacing once things get fixed) then it wounld't be messing up your sidebar anymore. As for not being able to get into your account, this link should take you to your account. But the option to get into the sidebar isn't always

I know it isn't execution, but was saying they could kill him that way and harvest all the organs for use elsewhere. Not that I was suggesting they do that, just trying to come up with a reason against the liver donation. It is a bit out there, I'll admit. And I'll agree, politics are rather illogical, mustn't be many vulcans involved in it

While I do agree, it is a messed up relationship those two share (how can it not be with their history?). And they are both old enough now they should be able to make their own choices. But the double standard is bad. Although, you did mention on pedophile rights (which almost sounds like a contradiction). Between this, ParaTed2k's series, and a few other things I've read I've been doing some thinking on the general topic. On the one hand, yes

Got one, an argument against using his liver. The guys going to die anyways, even with the surgery, that just extends the date somewhat. So why not harvest any/all organs while they are getting the liver? Put him under for the surgery and he does wake up again. Dismantled for parts, so to speak. And not just him, let's go apply this to all people that would otherwise be executed. Might as well get some use out of them. And while we're at it,

Sounds like a plan to me, hope it goes well for you. From my experience at self teaching, it works best when you have some goal in mind, instead of just tinkering with the software. A family newsletter, or database of all your books. Something to take it from learning to practical application. But your a smart guy, I'm sure you'll do fine

Your question did get me thinking. Since all articles have unique id's, you can read them from anywhere in JoeUser (and probably wincustomize too). If you read it and it's not on the forum then it will have the watchlist icon. So (any valid name).joeuser.com/index.asp?(article number) will show you that article. I'm not aware of any articles that arn't in blogs and are forum only, but if you have the id number you can make them look like blogs. So

You can have pictures in your blog, and it seems like your going about making the link the correct way. But judging from your last article, your trying to link to .html pages instead of pictures, which doesn't work. If you were to find the pictures address at that page, instead of the page itself, then it might work. Or you might need to setup a hosting service like drmiler said. It depends on if the picture your trying to share is accessable on th

no forums, forums bad, burn the forums But at least you don't need a $90 flashlight for your helmet, any flashlight would work, right? Or are we trying to get phantom some business? So when's the flashlight coming home again? And good work on Xavier's part <img src="../images/smiles/smile.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmidd

Welcome to JoeUser and happy blogging to you A while back I put together an UIAQ that may be of help (or not, who knows) As for any particular question, feel free to ask and someone will likely answer (and if you watchlist your article asking the quest

I agree, was good it was just wax. And it is reassuring to hear that I'm not the only one with crazy waxed ears. I didn't mind having my ears irrigated. It wasn't exactly pleasant, but it wasn't uncomforatble either. Was interesting, a new experience and all.

Dr. Guy, I am not aware of a simple way to watchlist forum threads. If it is also a blog article you can go to the persons blog and watchlist it there. There is the 'Join mailing list!' option at the bottom of the forum, it might be a watchlist type effect, but since that option is also on blog articles I doubt it would watchlist things. Looking at the watchlist icon on the blogs, in theory you could manually enter the article id for the forum threa

I'll second that it's not clear. Since you mentioned it's werewolf I can see that, but I can also see the boar orgy. Seems like there is too much detail being crammed into too small of a space.

Good for you. Enjoy what time you have left on your island, but I think the move will do you good.
