Hey, how about leaving the "old" insane AI in the game as an additional max difficulty? Cuz why the hell not?

Hahahaha that was savage XD
[quote who="bbc6rgf57ytty5yxyw5gt" reply="3" id="3702598"] Quoting Erenquin, reply 2 Hello, is it part of the season pass ? https://forums.ashesofthesingularity.com/481856/one-community-merging-the-singularity: And anyone who already upgraded to Escalation from Ashes now has an automatic season
I personally believe Escalation as it was released was a mistake, and a big one at that. Please don't get me wrong, it was a great addition to the game, BUT it shouldn't have been made a standalone expansion. It would have been far better to use it to improve upon the base game. What exactly did you guys expect to happen if you make a standalone expansion with all kinds of fancy stuff like upgradeable defenses, etc. Of course people will facor the expansion and ignore
Unlimited resource reserve for substrate. This doesn't sound like a good idea since it defeats the purpose of "keeping your constructions going" in order to keep wasted resources to a minimum. A game in Ashes of the Singularity is not just a simple shootout. Two or more sides throwing units at each other until one drops dead, any RTS can do that. But what truly sets Ashes of the Singularity apart from all the other RTS is its honesty towards strategy o
I am terribly sorry, but 5€ is too much. Why? Well, what do you get and why is is a waste of money? More maps: We get a map editor anyways and community-made map packs will pop up all over the place. more scenarios: Same here, though a bit harder to make You can get a good tutorial for making these here: <a href="http://www.indiedb.com/games/ashes-of-the-singularity/tutorials/ashes-of-the-singulari
"You can build both PHC and Substrate units" Welp, now THAT is gonna be interesting haha.
Yeah, the game has its shares of so-called "newbie traps". THE most deciding phase of a battle is actually the "capturing phase" at the beginning. Of course you will easily win against beginner and easy AI, even if you take your time. That opponent is pretty much a punching bag. Unless you are afk most of the time, you won't lose. But starting with normal, you will have to hurry the heck up with capping or you will have a very hard battle before you.
It's not THAT hard to do to have ppl customize their units: Each unit has a so-called "class chassis", which basically determines its basic role. The player would then be able to choose from a number of different modules for propulsion, armor, power and weapons: Each component would have a certain mass value, which determines its metal cost. Also, more mass automatically slows the unit down. The mass also has a maximum value The functional co
Well, just imagine what Ashes of the Singularity would be like if EA was the publisher [e digicons]8C[/e] If you want to play as Substrate, pay 10$ extra for limited edition, or wait 1 month for "15$ Substrate DLC" You get less than 5 maps to play on- the rest gets included in DLCs for 15$ each. Season pass gives you shiny unit skins and a 2$ discount on each DLC included. You look for opponents in Battlelog (or
I really liked the Supreme Commander series, but I don't want Ashes of the Singularity to become Supreme Commander 3. It would be just wrong. I mean Supreme Commander matches usually had one of the following patterns: You get caught with your pants down and get steamrolled. After a long battle, one player's base gets overrun. Once it turns out that normal attacks won't win the match, the game becomes a weird race of buil
I made this thread so we may collect and discuss some more "advanced" tactics for new players to read up on once they've covered the basics. What I got in mind are some tactics and tricks not too obvious at first glance which can make the difference between victory and defeat when facing a similarly skilled opponent Soo, to get things started: If things drag on, get creative: Go after his economy a
So in a nutshell, I can't play this :( Great.
