That happened to me today. I had about 90% cultural influence, saved, reloaded and it was down to about 53%. Next turn it jumped back up into the 90% range again. ~SDC~

All these people having troubles with the Dengrin. I quite like them. My last game ended when I formed an alliance with them. It's the Yor I hate. Ooh, those Yor... They wiped me out within a couple of hours in the first game I played and I've never forgiven them. Hmm... maybe someone should start a "which race is your nemesis?" thread. If there's not one already. ~SDC~

Good review that. Would have made me very interested in the game, if I didn't yet have it. "Simple yet deep" always appeals to me. ~SDC~

I play in the living room while sitting on the sofa. Normally have the TV on. But I've been listening to the new Black Box Recorder albumk lately. That's great. ~SDC~

I'm getting slow download speeds and this is now the fourth time I'm trying. Keep getting an error about one file being the wrong length, or something. I'll ask the Stardock guys about it if it doesn't work this time. In the meantime, I'm putting the low speeds down to people hammering the server. I don't mind too much if that's the problem. ~SDC~

Ooh. Excited now. I'll be checking for a download on the 26th of March. Probably play the beta for the next week, then play MOO3 for three weeks or so, then back to GalCiv.

I joined Drengin.net last night and managed to download and play GalCiv quite happily. Very happily, actually... until The Yor wiped me out.
