Well crap, that was a huge waste of playtime! I swear I've done this before and hadn't needed to start a new game. *sigh* At least it's working now.
The game (always has) only reads and incorporates the xml files on starting a new game. All xml data is stored with your save, so any new mods are not reflected in your previous saves.
Very strange, I have done many invasions and have not seen your problem. You might want to open a ticket and send your save game (or put a link to your save here)
with the rarity of P worlds imho +2 would be better than the new +1. Good catch on the bug
hope you had fun with your day at the movies
The issue is that an early tech is entirely devoted to a wonder, and if that wonder has already been built by another player, then what is the point of that tech besides wasting peoples time?
Agree, All techs should gain you something besides access to a wonder
How is getting an admin back if you decommission a starbase "gaming" the system? .. just wondering. Either give it back instantly or maybe put it on a shuttle to return home
If a citizen is at a planet, how do I bring them back to HQ for a promotion? Can't seem to find the magic button...
had trouble with this myself. Select citizen, click promote (really dumb path) then find recall in promotion list. It will cost you 10P to recall back to home world
YES i think the overdid the resource requirements in several areas but i like the idea. Likewise on admin requirements and the number you get. But easily modded
I agree with you.
1) No. And you can't interact, only send a freighter of conquer them 2) don't think so
edit MapSizeDefs.xml and change MinCameraZoom. Increase it for each map size to limit how far you can zoom in. I had to do this to prevent crashes on a computer with V old graphics card

Copy the faction files from /galciv3/factions to the galciv crusade faction directory
new system adds too much repetitive micro. On larger maps with wide empires you have to revisit every planet and queue things up vs. set it and not be bothered again
All good points, my priorities are; 1,2,4,5,6,7 I would add In designer, allow ship component bar to be dragged up to show more than one line of components.
A lot of tooltips and flavor text are incorrect and misleading. It is one of the thing that they should iron out before launch Crusade. How disappointed.
Yup, lots of bugs. I figured it would be that way and just think of it as a beta still. Loving the changes and improved AI. SD is good at releasing frequent fixes. Can't blame folks for being disappointed after buying wit
locked up WAITing for turn to end. 3 different games
Dumb question but are you sure. It was a bug awhile back bur has bee working for me. Sometimes i have a challenge finding the planet though.
This should be a real hoot if it is half as good as his original kickoff review
