flyer in MOO3 box (which i returned)
Todd Harris
That's what I did and how I found out. :)
I think I'm going to pick up Freelancer on Wed. It's not in competition with GalCiv, but it's a space sim -- pretty cool looking game.
I'm such a retard. Just realized that Frogboy IS Brad. Duh. :)
Freya -- I think that was me. :D Or, it could have been one of thousands of people considering how horrid the game was.
Well, IMHO, the flyer included with MoO3 was a GREAT start for marketing and advertising. Perhaps also throw up a banner ad on Gamespot and IGN. That would be huge right now. Perhaps run it for a few weeks and see how many click-thrus you get.
Mine is back in the box and on it's way back to EBGames.com. What a God-awful game that was.
Quite simply - MoO3 is a User Interface nightmare. I do not claim to be a UI expert, but I have some experience in it. It is completely non-intuitive and detracts from gameplay. A clumsy UI is one thing. But, a UI that detracts from gameplay is a NO NO.
That's kinda what I figured. Thanks Frogboy. Do you guys plan on updating your forums to handle all of the traffic you are going to get? Especially once folks start migrating from the MoO3 board to here. Perhaps a better board design?
Brad, Frogboy, How did the price for this game get marked so low? Don't get me wrong, it's a great thing! I'm just curious. Was MOO3 just overpriced at 49.99? Are you trying to attract more gamers based on this price? I know those are very basic and superficial questions, but I think you understand my basic question. Thnx.
