good luck I dont think they have any ideas of changin the tactical battles. They need to add magic resitances as well. but so far all special abilties are tied to mana as well and if they did add these things I pray to god we ahve a way of knowing about it since in game documetation is poor. for example I have heard rumors helmets block blunt damage, but thats just a rumor, but it sounds like they have different resitances already in the game but no documentation for it.

mounts are uselss anyway its easier to use magic to boost your speed and its not like they give your a charge or attack bonus. tactic battles in this game is stupidly simple. not even sure why they added it.
begining to mid game, everything is fine, but late game lika 180+ turns game slows toa crawl with tons of crashes anyone else have this.
caravans only boost food production? So its only beneficial to run caravans between a city that has food then. otherwise its a waste.

all you need is warfare and logistics thats it, once you get just leather armor start pumping out huge things of spear men. and summon creatures and then just roll over everyone. theres very little in the way of tactcs except ina battle of trying always let your enemy get to you first so get first strike.

Actually you went to ford and you expected it to drive like a mercedes and have all the same bells and whistles. Then they gave you a ford and your going crap thats not what I wanted. But your ford has the potential to turn into that merecdes I hope stardock lives up to it, they really are 6 months out from a truly polished game
not really I have an intellegence of like 38 and atleast 2-3 of each shard and I still get misses and never really see insance damage

well the truth is it does work, but what your dreams were for this game and what was delivered is probably different. This is not a deep strategy game in any way, its not close to civ, aow or mom. but its simple and fun for a awhile for me it will not replace or reaming on my computer for that long unless theres a serious overhaul

Just going to keep adding stuff here. No happiness rating. Your people are always happy, you take a city over they immediatly assimilate. So far this is a very shallow fantasy TBS, I love the look and feel of it, but when you start paying atention its not much more then a simple rts.
it should give you a moral bonus, ideally it should give your kingdom a happiness bonus but the game is not that complicated like other tbs, where they have happiness for cities and cities can revolt
So have any of the developers come out and stated what or where they want the game to go? Whats going to be in the next patch is it only bug fixes or unit balances

This game is atleast a year away
If you have three demons you can destroy any army with out being touched it seems. each one can cast a spell that does 10 points of damage toe very enemey twice per turn, naybe its me but thats 120 damage before anything even gets close to hit you

your units just get a defensive bonus, its not like in AoW where you have to actually have your walls knocked down.
or if you killed the othersides king and your son was married to his daughter so taht you take control of his territory
I have noticed that I dont see much if any inmprovement in my spell research if I choose that as an option for a city that upgrades anyone else notice this. Good god trying to research lvl 10 spells takes a long long time
tough call, its playable but not everything seems to be working as intended and there is zero documenttion, but its fun.
oh and it may be an error, but I still seem to have one unit knocking the hell and doing the same damage.
agree completly, but the thing is due to the utter lack of information we have no idea if its as intended or not.
