I have the problem that for whatever reason when I play a game after a while the computer shuts down completely. It's not a virus because it only happens when I play Galciv. In the past I never had these problems, it started after an upgrade, might be 1.10, I don't know exactly because I didn't play for a while. Because the computer shuts down completely the event is not cought by smart exception. So I don't know how to resolve it. I have even removed and reinstalled the game, but it is still th

Way back the new lands were conquered by the Dutch and Britts. Amongst them New Zealand, Autralia, USA and South Africa. Those conquerers never came back because the discovered lands were much more beautiful than where they came from. Nobody can argue this, it's a fact. I love all those beautiful countries. But it's also true more or less we all have the same background. So I think we better focus on kicking the alien asses LOL

More planets are already added in the latest update. You might be right about games taking months, but who will ever finish such a game? Probably you will loose interest in such a game and start a new one.

Terror Stars can destroy planets just by moving them on to a planet. And yes, they should move, but only very slow. I just finished a game using them under 1.05.71, so it should work.

This might be already posted, but I found in my latest game (1.05.71) after building Dreadnoughts, they don't show a picture, not at building the ships, not after building the ships and not in the game display. They are just blank.

The AI is not terrific, but I think it is still a good game and from time to time I still play it. You can DL the demo to see for your self at http://www.malfador.com . It seems they will release a new game in the summer, details on the same site. Brad (Frogboy) referred to them a while ago, I guess he also likes SE IV ;)
