I'm in the latter stages of my second game. AI is only on idiot but here is the problem now.... I have been unable to consistently get the morale on many planets over the 50-49 point. Now many are in the low 40's. No one has more influence than me. But in addtion to that, my money is going faster than I can print it. Trade is low since there are only 2 major civs left, and I just declared war on the evil one destroying the Torians. I have lowered the tax rate lowered gov expenditures, stop

ALmost done game 2 with slightly higher AI settings and a bigger map. I'm by far the dominant civ and have been most of the game...except for cash, which has been 1-3 the whole game. One problem I am having is keeping the morale up. Many of my planets are 50-49 for morale and despite building all I can, lowering taxes, not warring, incsreasing social spending, I can't get them significantly higher. Amyone else have this problem? What causes it? How do you combat it? Thanks Doc

Trade...If I have a trade route with a civ, should I send more freighters? Does this increase trade. Send to more than 1 of there planets? I notice the AI sending out alot of freighters. Also..how do youdecide to stick with a tech startegy? Do you get minimums of each then zero in on your goal? Say you want big diplomacy..do you ingnore all waepons and ships? Or do you get a certain level of them then just go all out diplomacy things? Just curious. Lots of decisions! Doc
