Just a quick reminder for Brad here that there actually ARE people in Europe who DO possess computers. Don't forget us when you send out the serial numbers, OK?

Well there used to be a german company that did interaction like this (Massive Development) but they sold out... It was a shame, they produced Schleichfahrt (Archimedean Dynasty), one of my all time favourite games. Let's hope nobody buys Stardock!

If you take one thing from this post/story is this. You sleep comfortable in your bed or in your house because there is someone who is not sleeping in their bed in their home in the world today. There is someone who misses his dad, his family and his place beside them. I never asked ANYONE to stay awa

Certain countries even today require that all of their young people of a certain age serve in the military for a few years. And especially countries that should know better (speaking of my own country of origin here)... It's so outdated it hurts. Luckyly it's very easy to fool our military so I'll never have to worry about that again and they c

I was a huge fan of the X-series and didn't buy X3 because of StarForce. I am very happy Brad made the decisions he made and from what he said on Poweruser TV it all sounds very logical and straightforward to me. I have huge respect for game companies that are as straight with their customers as Stardock is. Sadly, Stardock is the only one of the ones I knew that didn't went under the wheels - let's all work on it that it stays that way! I keep telling everyone I know about SD and GalCiv, that's

Thanks again for your awesome dedication to your customers. I can't wait! As Bruce keeps singing: "It's gonna be alright!" BTW, cute froggy!

OK, Hall of Fame to me means a list with all your highscores on your machine. Am I wrong there? If I'm right, explain to me why you need to know real world gamers' scores to implement that.

On close quarters one to one combat a carrier would have the stuffing kicked out of it in seconds, but in a battle where the first shot counts, the carrier offers the ability to hit the enemy before he even knows you are out there. Or you could armor your carrier for a relatively small cost (relativel

I think the current model of doing things is cool. Think about it... If you have forces in space over a planet and that planet has no ships to defend itself, you have gained total space superiority which means even if the planet had planetary defenses it would be quite easy to take them out carefully one by one. If the defender looses space superiority, he can't get any reinforcements and the attacker can just bomb him to heck from a distance. It's lik

Then why don't you add multiplayer in and delay the game by a month Are you crazy? Quick, someone distract Frogboy before he gets wrong ideas! I mean, I don't miss MP and if they put it in an expansion that's reasonable, but this.... Wait ANOTHER month? <img src="smiles/Gasp.gif" border=

Well, I think that show is the best thing that happened to TV in general since 24. And what it did to scifi is awesome, IMHO. I loved the original show and I love the new one. It's just like the essence of the old show has been transported to contemporary culture. Oh yeah, did I mention I have a soft spot for cigar smoking women? Well, anyway... Not to hijack this further.... I'll fix me

well if you knew anything about computers Mmhhhh.... Let me see.... If I knew anything about the Internet, I wouldn't go into a public forum and start a thread on what a great setup my system has just for the heck of it. Will it run on my XPS Gen2? Will it? Well, I don't know.... <img src="smiles/Hmm.

"Slightly off topic, I think I read this somewhere, but is it possible to create a ship with no sensors, engines, or range just to sit at a planet and guard it?" Yes, as far as I know (I think Brad posted something on that), it is possible.
