Windows 7 would be enough the mpg codec is excellent, trust very few programmes to touch your codecs or near perfect loops are impossible. TMPGEnc, Xilisoft and PowerDirector are OK to trust, leave well alone ffdshow and AVS destroy ability to make a good mpg loop. Multi codec packs are a disaster too. ffdshow got put on my laptop by a HTML Editor and it screwed all mpg loops and even SCRs asked did I want the video played by it too - a question asked before the SCR runs !!&nb
