I would be making some of these but I don't have a compiler yet(see my post in WC help): A mail checker. A System Tray. A Start button. Various guages. Does anyone know how to do any of these?

I wanted to make a docklet for ObjectDock, but I don't have VC++. Is there a free compiler I could download to do this? Is there a way to do this with VB6? I haven't looked into that because I don't have time right now. VB6 would be much better for me as I do that all the time.

I can do the first two. To make a guage: Make a new object. Add an additional abbility for Performance meters. Configure it. Click apply. To make sound effects: for the new mail state on your mail checker: click the sound tab and set a sound. You may need to update to the most recent version to make these work. The flashing is more application related as the programs can make themselves flash. <A HREF="https://www

Which button? The throbber button? If it is the throbber button it was probably on purpose because clicking on the Stardock logo shouldn't tell you about Internet Explorer.

I tried to post this a week ago, but I couldn't post or change my profile: I think you need a new version of Windows. Shell32 problems usually mean your Windows isn't supported or something is installed wrong. You might have just downloaded a bad copy of DesktopX Beta. To disable iconX(which I believe is causing your problem): ******* WARNING ******* If done wrong this could make some or all of your Windows programs or Windows to stop working. Make sure
