Reinstalling seemed to do the trick. (Thank goodness, and thank you for the help). Should the issue recur/persist I will submit a trouble ticket.

Love fences- hate the idea of being without it, found it best way to organize 4 monitors/desktops. I'm running a dual boot Win7Ux64 and Windows Server 2008r2 (as a workstation). Having said that for quite some time I've been having severe issues with hangs on log-in of my primary user account due to a Fences conflict with Explorer.
