Is there some kind of game guide? in Galactic Civilizations III GalCiv3 Forums

I expected some kind of optional tutorial when I started playing. With me not playing the previous GalCiv games, I'm not really familiar with how they work. I've been playing and picking things up as I go along, but doing this makes me feel as though I could be over looking important aspects of the game since there's quite a lot to it. I seem to be doing okay so far with only a couple of problems like not knowing how to take over a planet that belongs to a different civili

Cool, thanks. Might as well ask here instead of making another thread.. If I purchase the early access version of the game now, will I own the game for good or does it only entitle me to a pre release version and I'd have to buy it again upon release?

I'm trying to decide whether I want to buy this and couldn't find any information about how battles take place. I thought this may be disabled for early access. Do they just take place automatically on the space map or is there an option to enter a battlefield like Rome Total War?
