well i'm finally getting tired of how my system has been acting, which i am pretty sure, like 90% sure, it's because of my video card. i think it has have some kind of compatibility issue with my motherboard, or monitor, or both.. so i am looking to get a new one. anything good, comparable to Nvidia Geforce 6200 OC 256mb 8xAGP? (that's what i have right now) ~ prefer Nvidia - run WB5 so something that will run that well. am willing to go with ATI - not
was a solo 1450. i sold it for only $300 (local) - i live in Alaska lol shipping hella sucks to/from here. getting my iBook in a couple weeks *waiting till next paycheck so i can do a memory upgrade when i get it w/o making myself go broke lol - i've already found some solitaire games that look good for it)

i'm selling my Gateway Solo laptop *was actually a good one, i've had it since 2002* it had a Intel Celeron processor. AMD is nice, that's what i put into my desktop. I'm replacing my Gateway laptop with an iBook *am tired of dealing with windows everyday so that'll give me a break from it *
i use AOL Explorer - beta version of it. i love it, the tab browsing is great for it. i also have used FireFox, but liked that browser. Mozilla has a good email client, Thunderbird (http://www.mozilla.org/products/thunderbird/) and it can be skinned also. it's really easy to use. I have office 2003 so i have full version of Outlook to use if i want but would rather use thunderbird instead.

i have a 19" Sceptre lcd - christmas gift last year so i had no choice in brand - but have a hard time now sitting at the other computers in our house (they are all old CRT monitors - yuck and not as big) my resolution sits at 1280 x 1024 and works perfect for me - i don't even feel like it is cluttered at all. (mine isn't widescreen either)

CompUSA (if you have one near you) usually carries cases of different kinds - or local computer hardware places too sometimes will. you'd be surprised. i paid about $80 for mine, it came w/ a power supply, side fan, and some lights on the front, along w/ a couple of front USB ports. i would of boughten online, but shipping to Alaska is just too ridiculous to pay - if
i like the Beta products aol puts out for it's user to test before release - the aim beta they have, triton, is a lot nicer than the current aim (5.9) ~ and the aol explorer is nice too. i hardly use the main aol client anymore but still pay my fee, plus my aol email is still my main email. my parents pay for msn - i have a hotmail account, but usually refer to that
i didn't say this site had 100% greatest - i just think that DA post up anything and everything that comes along, that's all. I love the work here, and try to leave feedback on stuff to (i'm bad about it lol i admit that) but i do try to particpate on the boards often. i love the people here, they are all really nice. this community, and aeroxp are the 2 i always check throughout the day for new stuff/topics. i do agree also that a community does need
i haven't regretted once paying for object desktop, or paying the wincustomize.com subscription either. (i love not having ads show up on the web pages). i think it is the best thing i've paid for for an online subscription (besides streamload, i still pay the monthly charge for that, but only $4.95 lol and i buy music from iTunes). i see no problem in offering stuff exclusively for subscribers ~ i think it would kinda be like a perk for subscribing. i
i had the issue on my taskbar of a "ghost image" being left behind after all windows were closed - but after i had uninstalled/reinstalled wb5 (i was having the "classic" issue also and stuff not skinning right) it has all been 100% smooth sailing for me i use a Nvidia Geforce 6200 right now. my sister's computer is running a Nvidia Geforce4 mx400 i believe it is.. *pretty sure* and she is running window blin
i am very interested in this - since i am a paying AOL member ..... i use gmail also but i hope it doesnt' become completely acquired - i would hate for some of this stuff to go away.... there's a reason i use AOL and not MSN..
if you use firefox, there's a google plug-in you can get to make all the ads go away for all google things it's nice
i too have it disabled - but i miss having that nice shadow under my taskbar (it sits at the top of my screen) - i really hope they don't make us wait like they did for wb5 lol

i am using this pack right now - unfortunately, i do not think you will find it on wincustomize - i do not remember where i found most of it at - but i have changed a few icons in it and repackaged it for myself. i don't know if they would let me post it up on wincustomzie or not.... maybe i'll try
i just did the new update, 4.90c[b].003. i had restarted it right after, like it says to, and walked out of the room to go ask my sister something, i came back and had a blue screen, i assume had shown up after the computer had restarted, but cannot say for sure if that is when it showed up or if it is even because of this beta. after hitting the restart button, everything loaded up 100% fine with no problems. guess it was a one-time deal. this was the error message on the blue s
