I'm loving the latest version - Thank you. A couple of requests for the next patch please: 1. Manti-birthing pools. Maybe I'm just unlucky but I have lots of planets with lagoons but no lakes so can't build the Manti-birthing pools quest. It seems to me the Manti's would love lagoons just as much as lakes so please could you add lagoons to the terrain type you can build this improvement. 2. Commanders - I think this has been mentioned before, but it makes n

I have a related quibble. It isn't so much that I don't want to keep my designs ( I do for future games) but once I've obsoleted the design in my current game, I don't want to have to do it again every time I load a game. I typically only get to play 1-2 hours a few time per week and it's really annoying to have to obsolete all my old designs every time I start to play. I typically play huge galaxies with ~40-50 opponents so by late game I have a lot of designs obsoleted. Is it possib

I'm really enjoying the Warlords expansion - thank you. With the various diplomacy and limited war options it seems to me that there is currently an omission in that there is no way to trade a planet or outlying colony. Or even abandon it. In the last couple of games I keep finding myself with an outlying colony that triggers a war with a neighbouring player. I don't want it and would be happy to trade it away. If it is too difficult to get the coding in place at this stage (to avoid

Is there any way to share colony resources in a system. I have a couple of systems with 2 core worlds and 2 colonies. Ideally it would be possible to share 1 colony per core world but the system just sends all colony resources to the nearest (by one hex) core world. It really upsets the system development and with resources such a key it would be great to simply assign a colony to a core world be clicking and choosing in the same way you can with asteroids. Very happy to be told if you can al

Thanks for this. I still think that promotions for leaders shouldn’t incur a loyalty hit. likewise, the ship itself shouldn’t suffer from the captain being reassigned. Currently it’s like having a zUS carrier such as the the Nimitz throw all the F-18s and F-35s overboard and go back to Phantoms and F-14s every time the Captain changes -which makes no sense to me.

Personally, I quite like the current system of districts and improvements. I can rationalise the citizens as groups of people content to move around rather than the totality of the population who simply man the improvements you build. one thing I would like to see more is the impact of technology / population interaction. So for instance, that orbital moisture farm giving you the option to actually turn that desert tile into farmland, terraforming tech giving you the option to change

A couple of minor issues that have arisen in the latest 1.55 and 1.6 versions of the game: 1. You can freely reassign leaders as Ministers (which is great) but not Governors (why?), if I want to take an existing Governor of a small(ish) world and 'promote' them to my newly founded fantastic world which has better stats, then I have to take the hit on loyalty that comes from sacking them from their current Governorship. Would be nice if it worked the same way as Ministers i

I'm with Draver and Gypsy2299, I really enjoyed the previous culture system and found myself bouncing around teh various different options depending on how the game was going e.g. Need that Starbase Extension, need to remove pollution, need to buff my Governors now I've got more planets. It felt my culture was evolving depending on the differing challenges in each game and was 'interesting'. Balancing my preference for 'fair and demographic' with the challenges of pragmatism, auth

Okay, here we go: 1st instance of survey event retriggering when ship already in Service: https://www.dropbox.com/s/wjlvgqb5ty2cp0v/Praxis%20error.GC4Sav?dl=0 And 2nd instance when all(?) event ships have been found and are in service: https://www.dropbox.com/s/7076mjkkdlhjmhd/Praxis%20errorx2.GC4Sav?dl=0 </

Not sure if this has been reported but currently you get repeated survey events for the ships Praxis, Prospector and Raptor. However, the event fires correctly first time and allows you to build the relevant ship but subsequently doesn’t allow a 2nd ‘copy’ to be built. This is correct but I’m assuming the event should have also been disabled to stop repeat iterations of the event. In essence, it is just a wasted survey, but it is annoying. Thanks, for the updates, real

This is getting really frustrating. I live in a household with 2 high spec PCs on the same network (Core i7, 32GB memory, 1080 Ti and 1070Ti graphic cards) and a 50MB+ fibre connection (as Gal Civ doesn't offer a L:AN connection). Since 4.0 we just can't get the game to start a multiplayer campaign. Doesn't matter which computer tries to host the game, same result, set up the game, sync the player files and setup up the game. Hit start, watch the files transfer and then suddenly poof- doesn't

Had this problem a few times. We are a household of multiple kids, multiple steam accounts. When someone logs on with a game with more DLC than the next person who logs on we get this error. The only way to get around it is to unistall / reinstall. It seems that the game registers the DLC that isn't linked to your account and then crashes.

I'm using the standard Terran Resistance from Crusade - tweaked via your Mod to have 4 racial attributes. WIll have another look at the Shipset but I'm sure it has a Stellar Architect model. After all, it unlocks when I research Spacial Manipulation - just not when I traded for it. So to me it definitely suggests some sort of gremlin is in action.

Thanks to both Gauntlet and DivineWrath - I think this is another Retribution Bug. The Stellar Architect isn't unlocked in my ship designs but the Hypergate Component is which at least allows me to build a custom design and install Hypergates across my Empire. Looking to replicate the bug, I've tried a number of game restarts - using both vanilla GalCiv and with GRM 1 for Retribution enabled and the same thing happens. If I trade fro Spacial Manipulation the Stellar Architect doesn't

At the risk of appearing dim - how exactly do you create Hyper Gates in Retribution? I have all the DLCs apart from the Heroes of Star Control and have tried playing Retribution a couple of times. I've had lots of artifacts but nothing to let me build a HyperGate. Likewise can't see an option to build using a constructor or shipyard. I can see other races have built them but when I open diplomacy they don't have any technologies I don't have so I'm stumped. Help pse !

Hi Pshaw, im not sure if this is deliberate or not but when playing on an immense map with 16 empires at 'Godlike' I'm soon (within 10 turns) being buzzed by freighters from AI empires with a movement rating of 18 (I've managed to get mine to 5 movement). Likewise by turn 60, I'm seeing multiple empires with large ships of over 300 hit points. I know the AI gets a big buff at godlike but that seems OP! 3 games in now and starting to see 18 movement freighters again - it's
