There are a very small amount of events that boost PQ ratings through the roof. They probably got hit with one of them.

purefx, is 100 billion the max per planet no matter what the planet class is? I've never gotten that high before.
Heh, you make 29 billion people on Earth sound like a big number. I've had a game with the population of Earth hit about 65 billion with all the morale bonuses I had. And it wasn't even my most populated planet. ;p
Phaedyme has it right. I personally in a average game switch Yor to Pure Evil and Drengins to Chaotic Evil, and I would advise you to switch them around a lot to see what you like more.
I agree with Quellar. With more UP events, the less chance you will get that specific one you dislike.
I've seen it say 'string not found' before in the description for the I-League. Then in the next game the I-League had the description of the Kwailasions(sp?) because they revolted from their system, I think.
I always thought if you turned off tech victory that Final Frontier should give you impressive bonuses, after all your race just became godlike. :D Perhaps 20% or even 30% percent bonuses in 3 or 4 important categories. I dunno I just think it should mean something to hit the end of the tech line, but want to keep playing.
Thanks a lot, and sorry to hear about the problems you have had with uploading. Nobody knows how to fix that? Also, you might want to consider raising the cost a little bit of the Tree. After all, PQ bonuses are really good stuff. Just a quick suggestion. :)
Cool items, would you mind if I copy/pasted them into my files?
Eh, mine work... :notsure:
Yeah, that would be how I hope they handle it. I hope the developers add more to the game on a regular basis, and some of the ideas in the AT mod would be great. I'm not against mods at all, and I'll probably download a lot of them as time goes on, I just don't see how they will be able to be considered as balanced as the stock game...espically because the developers are adding to the stock game anyway.
Is the advanced terraforming mod really approved? Wouldn't that boost scores a fair bit by having so many high+++ class planets?
Same here, unless I'm specifically going to do a game where I walk the entire tech path. And if that is the case, ususally I'm the one in a solid lead. I got hit with some nasty events throughout one game though that led me to be solidly in the middle of the road throughout the game. I had avatars and a wrecked economy while they touched the deep end of the pool. :notsure:
They sure know all too well the value of those damn Excalibur's at the late game when they have me beat in tech. Ick.
You aren't kidding about that set of legs, whooo... Oh, wait you weren't talking about those legs. :p This game really came out of nowhere and impressed the hell out of so many people, and certainly has made a loyal customer out of me. The dedication and support is just icing on the cake. Thanks for your hard work!
It's usually common knoweledge that a save game from an earlier patch won't work on a newly patched game. It's not always the case, but it certainly seems that way to me often.
Hahahaha, that's great. It brings up something I thought about earlier though: If the AI starts getting UP resoultions against it like this and other possible things it would have no use for, will it leave the UP?
Morale was designed to be something that you will deal with throughout the entire game, and with good reason. These are literally billions of people that you are dealing with, having even half of them like your policies would be impressive. It shouldn't be an easy task to pacify everyone as it often is in so many other games. This is one of the few to get it right.
Terror star go boom.
It does seem like parts of the story are kind of missing from some of the events that pop up, but Brad has said before he is looking to expand on that eventually. Very cool stuff, I'm looking forward to it.
Ugh, English is my first language but you couldn't tell reading that. Heh, sorry bout the typos.
Aren't the Calorians the terrorist race? In the three times I've seen terrorist strikes on me,(the planet degrading events are HARSH) I've never seen Calor show up as a race. I know they showed up definately as the Venge,(took me the second game it happened to figure that out) but in my current game I'm not quite sure who it is. Maybe I'm missing something obvious, but I've seen 3 minor races pop up can't pick out the obvious culprit. Oh well, I'm an evil civ anyway. I'll kill them all
Hahahah, that's certainly different. Can it happen to the human too, or just the AI empires?
So what does the event do, exactly? I've seen it 3 times now but ususally the empire in question was about to die from my fleets by the time it hit them.
I find switching the morality of races in the complete opposite direction brings some hilarious results when dealing with them, espically the Drengins and Yor. :D Having to deal with my first event-created race was a hair-raising experience as well....
