Empire ambulence, search and rescue. It could be a module that could be added to starbases or a facility based on planets, that sends ships to find survivors of shipwrecks or people lost on uninhabited planets. Just generally find the lost and heal the sick. It could add to stability happiness etc.

I understand that on the 26'th coinciding with its retail release anyone who has a copy can download the game. Galactic fuel shortage: for a duration no new projects, ships, bases can be constructed (existing projects can be finished) and ship movement is made finite. i.e if a ship can only move 5 squares,sectors or whatever once it has spent that 5 points it is immobile until the fuel crisis is over.

Artificial "north star" im not sure if this is a random event or something to be researched and constructed but: Your race creates or stumbles upon a device that acts as a huge bright beacon, in space and in the night sky of every planet in the galaxy it can be clearly seen. I am just curious since I didnt play the beta, do computer controlled evil races change in apperence as well? Like those arceans who have green eyes if they are evil do they turn red in the diplomacy screen maybe with that evil robot in the back as well? Do their ships and bases become more menacing looking and so on and so forth?
