I have also encountered the sound-drop issue on both of my systems.
I'll be lucky if I get more than a few hours of sleep this whole weekend because of this damn game. :)
Well, there might have only been one MOO3 game up because everyone else was off playing GalCiv. ;)

It's hard to put into words how happy I am with this game. MOO3 was such a disappointment, but GalCiv has pulled me out of my intergalactic funk and renewed my faith in the gaming industry. Pat yourselves on the back for me! :D

It's true, the MOO3 fanboys there have really worked themselves into a fit. When the majority of people correctly point out that the Emperor has no clothes, those who have emotionally invested in fashion-design are bound to get just a tad defensive. ;)

The MOO3 fanboys are really a rabid bunch. Of course there's something to be said for ignoring the fanboys and letting disappointed players know about GalCiv. I know from personal experience that it was an incredible relief to discover GalCiv after the MOO3 release debacle.
