Yep, your Servo can walk right through those houses and turn them into rubble. :) (cackling IRL optional)

A couple of times in the last week or two Servo screenshots were highlighted on the internet. In both cases we were reminded that we really need to release some new screenshots because the ones on the official website are looking a little dated compared to the game now. Servo art come a long way since the game was announced, or even two weeks ago. This is a screenshot from the first mission in the Servo campaign, which now has destructible buildings that not only help give scale an
Interesting thought Vithar...I do like passive % chances myself and trying to stack gear to boost that. Nice wondible - I like that idea, which means it's probably too good. ;) But some version of ice blasting nearby enemies sounds great to me.
How could there possibly be a better name than that!
Latest Servo Build #375 When is the Next Update? The next update for Servo is going into Quality Assurance testing this week. (Release Candidate 0 has been made) We don't have a release date for the update yet, since the time updates spend in QA testing varies greatly, but it is a step closer to going out and we'll let you know when it's ready to go. Here is a look at some of the new stuff that's gone into the game
Hah, thanks. Sounds like a familiar bug, but a low priority that might not get fixed for a bit.
I'm having flashbacks to wave 7 on Darksun CoOp...
A couple of weeks ago we saw how Nick took Andy’s concept sketch of the Lasher enemy from 2D artwork to 3D model. Thonny is another artist at BonusXP and his specialty is animation. He put together video that shows how he took this model and brought it to life, showing idle, walk, and attack animations. If you’re looking to see some Lasher death animations, you’ll need to fire up Servo and get in the fight. Enjoy! By Thonny “Nemo”

If you were watching yesterday's Servo dev stream, you saw a couple of crashes. There was a bug with lamp posts of all things - which are along the roads on the Creep Rock City map. Fixed now, hurray! The recording of the stream is going to be on Youtube later today.
1) So you're giving yourself 800 damage over 8 secs - but you're immune to all normal forms of damage during this time. Is that correct? Not sure I understand the second paragraph. Are you just suggesting a name for the above ability?
Just FYI - I'm only getting around to uploading this week's dev stream to Youtube now. Should be available in a few hours: https://www.youtube.com/user/stardockgames
Pretty cool idea - maybe we can put something special together for when this goes down next year.
By Mike Petersen If you are interested in Big Mechs fighting, then you probably already know about the big fight coming up between the USA and Japan! Perhaps we need to get some Servo action out on the battlefield! Definitely do-able...could be fun. :)
There's a new time for our Twitch Tuesday Servo Dev Stream, it's now two hours later than before starting at 2pm Pacific Time, which is 4pm Central Time, and 5pm Eastern. Drop in and cheer us on as we clobber each other - or grudgingly play a CoOp game - using the latest build of Servo, discuss questions and ideas from the folks hanging out in chat, and generally have a good time. We hope to see you tomorrow: http://www.twitch.tv/sta
By Nick Resa Lashers, they can be either ranged attackers or melee, but either way they’re coming at you in swarms. Before the Lasher we had a beetle-like creature in the game that never really fit thematically. He just looked like a big bug, not the enraged bloom crazed enemy we were wanting to shoot at. We needed something that would fit with the game’s scale and still maintain believability in-game. One of the difficult tasks about making an RTS
Very cool ideas guys - thanks for reposting from chat Thecw. "These are not the drones you are looking for..." is an interesting one, with fun implications for CoOp games too. More ideas welcome.
If you caught the live stream on Tuesday - and if you didn't you can check it out here on Youtube - you saw that there's some parts that we're trying out that change up the gameplay. A couple of examples that were mentioned: Turret Rush Software part that reduces build time of Turrets at the expense of only being able to a max of 5 of them and having to place them closer than usual to your Servo. Refinery So
Also going to get that stream from yesterday uploaded to Youtube some time later today.
Bumping this - will be showing off the latest build today for those interested in tuning in. http://www.twitch.tv/stardock/
Thanks eviator!
Latest Servo Build #354 Twitch Stream We have started our weekly developer stream on Twitch , as some of you may already know. We will generally be using our latest build of the game during these streams - bugs and all - and talk about what we're working on. That may be anything from some new icon art to new Servo abilities or a new map. We'll also try to take any questions
Clamps would be definitely awesome - there're on our long list of weapon ideas for sure.
By Chris Popp Seeing as how we’re in the middle of making a game with giant mecha called “Servo” the talk around the office has inevitably shifted to movies and comic books representing those things - Gundam, Evangelion, Pacific Rim, Transformers, etc. The toy and model market for these properties is huge, and I absolutely love the die-cast transformer models from Japan, having an RX-8 Laserwave model myself. During an entirely unrelated
