Thinking ahead about avoiding confusion: Perhaps you might rename the 'ObjectBar theme' to 'ObjectBar construct' to better communicate that it is not simply a thematic variation, like a skin, but actually a new design. 'ObjectBar skins' will only be able to change the appearance of existing constructs; but constructs, as the name implies, can take any shape or form. Please give 'construct' some consideration, as I think it is a clearer term than 'theme.'

Yes, the enemy of good is better -- or thus says Voltaire -- but I agree with Frogboy that Vista must first be made to be satisfactory before you start worrying that enough is enough. The consensus is that Vista remains far from ready, especially with recent builds. Kapsules seems to have really nice diversity in its widgets (e.g., drag-n-drop upload to Flckr, drag-n-drop file conversions, summary of Outlook e-mails and to-do list, etc.). It would be nice to see some of these widgets for DesktopX, too. Great ideas.

I always thought that password-protection of individual folders was a feature missing from XP. It's fine that you need to know the password to log-on using a particular account, but it would be an extra bit of safety to have a password to protect sensitive folders with private information. Is there a way to do this on XP that I'm not aware of?? Cheers.

ObjectDock is obviously a wonderful program. 'Nuff said. But has anyone thought of combining the features from Stardock's ObjectBAR (a Start bar replacement program that allows users to custom-design their own start bars with any design, orientation, configuration of cascading menus, program or file icons, meters, virtual desktops, etc.) with the sleek elegance of ObjectDock? I always liked ObjectBar, but have been reluctant to continue using it because it always seemed 'slow'
