Do you not see the irony in what you have just said? If people have spam filters on and an advertising e-mail goes to the junk folder then guess what? The spam filter just did it's job. Defaulting to on with the simple option to disable is the best balance between awareness and choice. If you really really hate it, turning it off is simple. You heard of e-mail? How about some remakes to some old classics? I just tried the updated Panzer General Allied Assault on Xbox live (wish it was on the PC as my kids tend to be on the console most of the time - laugh - I got 4 of them to compete with). Anyhow - Panzer general is fun and it made me think - what about updating some of the old QQP games? I wou
Hey will it be in the Kindle Format (WooHoo!)
The creator of Xyplorer is constantly updating and responds well to user suggestions. Try it out and if needs to do a little more than I would suggest it on the forums (or drop a note on their forums explaining what you need it to do and a poweruser may know a method to accomplish what you want to do). It has a very powerful scripting tool as well and that may fit your needs as well. One of my favorite features that I use all the time is that I can
Xyplorer is a windows explorer alternative that contains a tagging system, a catalog, powerful search features, and so on. It might fit the bill - I am a technical trainer and always have various documents to keep organzied on my own computer. I use a catalog which points to whatever docuwent I need for different classes, and if I get a new version I simply point my current catalog link to the new document. It works for what I need it to do. In any

[quote]Hey, thats not fair. Its a port of a board game from 1995. That would open up nominations for remakes of older better games than the ones already being nominated. Its not even the best electronic version of said board game, as it includes none of the expansions, and doesn't support hotseat play. (I'm not bashing big-huge-games, they did an alright job. Just "cities3D" is much better) ** disclaimer: This post contains a lot of jokes in it. Though some of it is mixed in with s
If I purchase the objectdock plus will that give me the new and upcoming version of the application when it comes out soon?
Picking Games I spent a lot of time on: Civ 4 Gal Civ2 Plants & Zombies (fun innovative tower defense) Advance Wars Roller Coaster Tycoon (2 & 3) Catan (xbox live) Call of Duty Star Wars: Knight of the Old Republic Team Fortress 2 Dragon Age Origin
I am mainly a traditional turnbased combat person. My worry is that when companies that are known for the traditional TBS type games start to create a hybrid it speaks to other companies completely giving up on the traditional turnbased system (especially if Elemental turns out to be a huge hit - which I believe it will). I happen to like Dragon Age Origins and the battle system for that game and it is fine for an RPG (could say fantastic) - but not what I would
I used to use Eset Nod32 and Online Armor; both are excellent products. Currently I am using Microsoft Security Essentials (free) and the Windows Firewall. I am testing them out because I switched to Win 7 64 bit and there were no 64 bit versions of the two above products (yet). Plus I did not want to have to purchase new software for them. I have to say that the Microsoft Security Essentials has gotten excellent reviews and so far in my personal experience it has been working
Thanks for the replies it is appreciated! I went ahead and spent the 10 bucks and will give it a whirl.
I purchased Sins a long time ago but never got into it since I am not such a RTS person. I always would get stuck right at the beginning of a game. At this point I am bascally waiting for Elemental (laugh) but wast to give Sins another shot. Do you all thnk that Entrenchment would make it easier to learn to play or harder? Thx!
Some Old Games: Chaos Overlords if you can find it. Lost Admiral Grandest Fleet Another Simtex game: 1830-Railroads--Robber-Barons
There is an updated version of Lost Admiral available by the original programmer Thurston Searfoss , tho I do not know how well it is supported these days. He were talking of redoing Conquored Kingdoms as well (but I think that project is no longer valid). http://www.lostadmiralreturns.com/
Thank you!
I am new to Ga Civ 2 and would like to try some mods. But I am not sure where to find them (I have looked around on the web but I can not find - download this file and place it in this folder type of thing). Any help appreciated.
