Too Many Cooks in War of Magic Stardock Forums

Hello, Everyone! I am an old time TBS strategy gamer and had the beta from the begininng. As time progressed I could see that what I hoped for in Elemental was not going to be (and that is okay since others wanted something different than me). I downloaded directly through impulse for both computers. I did have the beta working on the same laptop and uninstalled before trying to load the retail version through impulse. I travel alot as part of my job so I may not be able look this over for a few days (was trying to get it installed while I had access to a high speed internet connection. Will try when I get home at the end of the week. Thanks!

Decompression Error in War of Magic Stardock Forums

I have installed the game on my main desktop computer and it is running fine. I then attempted to install it on my laptop but it is getting a Decompression Error: can not find the Central Directory. I a running XP on the laptop a Lenovo T61. Any help appreciated.

Starcraft 2 Question in PC Gaming Stardock Forums

Does anyone know if I can have more than one player per game? My kids want to play but not sure how to create another player so they can have their own campaign (I understand that there would be one player for online but it would be nice if could have them log in locally offline or something to play by themselves). That way the auto saves would keep track of each one separately. Right now it seems we are stepping on each others toes.

Suggestions for New Graphics Card in Personal Computing Stardock Forums

My graphics card seems to be dying and I need a decent gaming replacement for the system listed below. Can anyone recommend something that would give good value around one hundred dollars or so that would fit the motherboard etc? I have 4 kids and it is interesting to watch how they use computers. They mainly use a web interface to do the things they like. Having a kindle, I have to say it is light and the eInk is just like reading a book. For novels and so on I think Kindle is still the best. I do hope however, that Amazon will now ease up on their DRM and perhaps switch to an ePUB format so their books can be read on either device. I think the marriage system should be simple at the outset and get more complicated in an expansion. If the game starts to make each and every aspect too complicated all at once, I think it could hurt it with a wider audience. I have an itouch which I do like very much (I never liked the ipod - old style with the wheel). Great to travel with if you fly alot. I like Naruto also but I think it is hard to make a really good game based on it on the story line. It is difficult to simulate all the powers in such a way that pleases the fans as well. Besides we already know what happens (g)! I like the idea of using the world but new characters. Now I would love to see a balltechess type of game with the different characters that might be fun.
