Emotional Roller coaster in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

Well I was playing a game and all of a sudden i started winning. I was comfused, but decided not to look a girt horse int he mouth and started to kick more butt. It was number 1 in just about everything, and most of all economy. I was making money hand over fist. (This is fromthe player who early posted he was getting slapped around like a 2$ whore.) For all that is holy and pure int he world this game is kicking my butt. I am not just losting, but that are slapping me around like a 2$ whore. But I plan on learning how this game works and when I do...watch out. BTW: The Intelligence settingis sub-normal. So tohelp me out I gotta ask you guys two qestions. 1) How do you make money, I am lossing it hand over fist in this game. 2) Star bases...just start fromthe begining, please. I read the manual and still don't get it. <

I am a newbie trying to get out of being a lurker so you might not recognize the name but you are guys are as old as dirt. I am 16, soon to turn 17, on honestly. The reason why I can post in the middle of the day is because this is my spring break... :). I was reading all of you ages and I was thinking...it must suck when you see an advertisment talking about funeral arrangements and realize they are targeting people in your age group.

What impressed you the most about this game when you were reading about it? I think what drew me closer tot his game were two things. I heard how hard it is and the quirky humor I found in some of the screen shots. “Nothing like fresh slaves to start a colony" I thought that was funny.
