Where is the patch... simplified!!! in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

This is way to confusing and I really mean CONFUSING to find a simple patch to this game. I have followed all the messages on this board to download the patch. How difficult would it be to do like 99% of the game companies on the face of the earth and provide a button called "patch" either on the website or in this forum. Maybe I am just stupid but I dont really think so. Where is the patch??????? ~SDC~
