You can get over 1000 BC per turn quite easily if you're into researching and trading tech all the time. Minor races are also good source for some tech tribute. Unbalancing? Yes and a tactic which is hard to resist too.
Yeah, it should not apply to trade with the minor races IMHO.
It would be nice to have support to resolutions up to 1280x1024 in the future, I thought this was the original plan too.

You mean colonised planets? we were talking about not having to manually click every solar system (which you have already explored but can't remember easily). Is there already an ability to sort them on the basis of planet level or not?
Yep, this could be especially important on larger galaxies, I hope this gets added soon.
You can also buy units when you need them fast (next turn).
