Crashes when finishing custom race in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

Hi there, I like the new beta2 custom race screen very much but when I finish my custom race with the "done"-button in the lower right the game terminates itself and I'm back to windows without any message. This seem to happen everytime, I tried it three times. I have a ATI Radeon card and the latest catalyst driver (the latest I know) "-6_xp-2k_dd_cp_wdm_23864" is installed. Greetz, CptGreenwood

Question to gameplay in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

I'm interested in GalCiv because I'm a bit disappointed about Master Of Orion 3. With all the pieces of information I've read so far, I know quite good what's gameplay about. Only one question was left unanwered. What about designing ships? I saw on screenshots, that several techs can be researched but I don't know if it ist possible to design ships with engines, shields, weapons, etc.
