Reply to Incorrect file size error. in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

I had exactly the same problem, it barfed on the first download file with an incorrect file size error. I solved the problem by uninstalling SDC and reinstalling the new version from stardocks webpages, (theres a link to a earlier post on the forum). The autoupdate of SDC didn't seem to work somehow. Im currently downloading GalCiv now. K.
