It is also difficult for me to see the dark blue, and all three of my monitors are perfectly calibrated. I have a 22" CRT and two 17" LCDs and they all show it as dark blue, which makes it quite difficult to distinguish from black.
Nexworks
No, it does not, after i click done it just exists the game. No errors or anything else :(
I have a game saved at the very last turn before victory, i click next turn, movie plays, get summary screen, press Done, it exits the game. No submission screen, no going back to the menu. Hope this clears things up. What could i be doing wrong?
Well im always on the net, and when I get the summary screen, when i click next/done it just exits the game.
How is the metaverse score submitted? Is it done automatically when you finish a game or do you have to do it manually? If manually, where? Ive looked everywhere and unless im going blind I see nothing that would allow me to submit a score
Worst AI ever = moo3
The choices affect your empires standing (good neutral evil etc). Your standing then affects how you are perceived by other empires. Chosing A) raises your standing towards good, chosing B) keeps your standing exactly where it is and chosing C) lowers your standing towards evil
Shrug, personally I really dislike the music. Thankfully the game now has an mp3 player :)
Erm, is the Excalibur class of ships supposed to be broke? Running 1.02, and once the ship reaches 'next month' completion, well it never gets built, regardless of how many months go by.
Ive had this problem with >any< build of the game. While the game is running, when i build ships from a planet that has ship modifiers like a shipyard etc, those ships that are launched have higher stats as a result (which is proper). However if i save and reload, all those bonuses get erased and all ships go back to default numbers. Is this a known bug?
Well i could see the 1.01a update (without registering) just fine, but once i applied the bonus pack i could see no more new updates.
AH, you have to update drengin.net with your serial number aswell, and NOW i can see the updates properly. Thanks! BTW: This is incredibly stupid as who would have thought to right click in that spot?
The ONLY way i can get my game to update properly is if i DONT install the bonus pack. If i install the bonus pack i can never update again :(
I just happened to run into this bug: one of the resources i built a station at, after a few dozen turns i noticed that the resource had dissapeared. Disbanding the station does not reveal the resource. DOZENS of rival nation constructors are sitting beside my station, eager to capture the invisible resource. Anyone have any ideas how i can fix this?
tools -> refresh doesnt work. It still says "-----" under Available
How do you update the game to 1.02? Stardock only shows the history file for it, but wont let me update from 1.01
If the AI doesnt cheat, ill eat my shorts. Ever see the AI explore? Happens very rarely, and yet, it knows exactly where EVERYTHING is, even where all my colonized planets are, even though for sure i know none of their ships had ever came anywhere close to my territory (or anyone elses for that matter).
Making money too difficult, is this a known problem? a) I dont build any of the expensive morale buildings b) I dont build huge military forces c) I do have a HUGE empire d) Taxes are kept as high as possible to keep all planets at 45% or higher And YET I still have to reduce my spending to insanely low levels like 11% just to BREAK EVEN. Help :)
If I install the game, and update it to 1.01a, does that automatically install the bonus pack aswell or does that have to be installed seperately? Because when I installed the game and first installed the bonus pack, the game was always at 1.01 and I could never update to 1.01a, and I dont want to 'break' my install again.
As for movies stuttering, are you sure your HD isnt running in PIO mode? Sounds like your HD is mega slow. Try installing a decent system wide benchmark like Sisoft Sandra or PCMark and check to see that your scores are up to par.
Its the auto save. The bigger your galaxy, the bigger your save file, and thus the longer it takes.
Awww, you mean rushing doesnt work? .... SWEET! :)
Uhhh, doesnt meet the specs? Dammit this is a turn based 2d game. Anything built in the last 5 years (atleast) will run it! :)
