Damn, that Epic Generator sounds like a wonderful idea! Could show up as an html file presented similar to the ending summary and viewable in IE or other browsers. Brad, this is the first I have heard of it, but that Epic Generator idea is a gem! If you ever rest up and find yourself bored enough to need to code a spurious update, I would love to see this! Got a problem. I was able to submit my 10 point for the Dixie Wanderers, then update that to a 14 point. Since then I have been able to delay the cultural victory to get up to 41 points on that game. However now it won't update. This was around the time my email address had been changed to one with a typo when Support was updating my name, but now I don't know what the email address on the Metaverse account is, so that I can set that on the submission page. You have to work up to CLOSE in relations, then trade them the tech if they lack it. ~SDC~
Support changed the name used on my account. It had my SO's name since I used his credit card, and now reflects my own. Expect a 1 to 2 day lag due to volume. Kimberly ~SDC~

Dammit, posted a reply and my connection got screwy. Retyping. Drengin.net earns the developers the most money. I bought it because getting The Corporate Machine made the price a super sweet deal to me, and I wanted to help out the developers. Buying direct earns them the next most money. Lastly, buying retail still earns them money, but just under 1/3 of the amount buying direct would earn them. If enough people buy retail, it will end up really helping the developers out as sales
That link, despite the disclaimer on the bottom saying not available for Drengin.net, will take the Drengin.net registration code and work anyway. Sales says there is a 1 to 2 week backlog, but you can do it. The lookup now shows a GalCiv reg code, but I was able to use my Drengin.net one just fine. I am happy to report all my name and email problems were solved completely yesterday, I have now downloaded the big exe file, and ordered the CD! Yup, satisfied and addicted. Pity I can't play again until my weekend starts on Sunday. Kimberly, content. ~SDC~
My goodness! My little Cakewalk first game (cultural victory by accident, was trying for tech and to monopolize resources) registered there! Oh, that explains why it isn't found. I love that screenshot, and desire to use it on my PC for a while. Currently alternating between 2 Planscape: Torment holiday wallpapers and some NWN wallpapers of Aribeth. Adding the GalCiv ones in now! Dammit, I can't. As discussed earlier, Support made a typo in my email address domain's name, so that link wants me to type in the incorrect address, and sends the registration email off to an non-existant account where it thereupon will bounce. Patently uncool. Hopefully Sales will fix that in the morning. At least I know what the typoed email address is so I may post. Silly and odd day this was. Kimberly, bemused at the irony.
