Here's the scenario: I have two planets. My total military expenses are 15. Looking at the stats for the individual planets, 9 of the military credits are going to Earth and the other 6 are going to my second planet. With both planets building Colony ships, for example, everything looks right, the credits are being spent on the construction. However, if I set the second planet to construct 'nothing' in the military queue, I'm still spending 15 a turn on military! Where are those 6
I think the AI will still only agree to deals that are in it's favor. For example, I tried a straight cash for cash trade; I give them 40, they give me 35 and got the same "this is a good deal HOW?" Umm, it's free money? I had to offer 60 for their 35 to get them to agree. I guess their money is better than mine... I assume this applies to all kinds of trades. However they quantify the value of a trade, they won't agree unless they get the better end of the bargin, i.e., no even swaps.
Thanks, and no worries, it's going only from my private work PC to my home PC, and no where else :) ~SDC~
Is there anyway to download on one machine (at work, where the internet is fast), burn a cd, and install at home (where my connection can't keep up with Grandma)? I thought of doing the 'download and archive' option, then copy the files. Will this work? Thanks, 3hd ~SDC~
