Socialism does not work and has never worked. Show me an example. People who favor socialism are typically people who want a free ride through life, and there are a lot of those in America and the world. You work for what you want. There is no substitute for honest and hard work. If you are unwilling to do that then you should not expect others to support you. Socialism not only does not work, it is also sick.

I am not a big believer in taxation (take other people's money without earning it yourself and claim it's for the good of all), but I understand that there must be taxes to some extent. Nevermind. I think this was self inflicted. I recently added a new hadr drive and reinstalled everything, icluding GalCiv, and installed the new patched version and THEN copied my old games over to the save directory. I started a new game and the tab worked fine, hence why I said it seems to be self inflicted.

Love this game so far, but... in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

I am -500 BC in the hole! :sniff!: LOL! But, it's my first game so I am sure I'll get things going as I play more. Also, a small map with all the races turned on is a bit cramped. I'm going to tackle a larger map next time. :) Play on, my friends!
