Listen, it's obvious that Code Monkey is just trying to compliment the authors of Stardock. Chill out, people. CM, saying that "anyone competant" can install the patch is an insult. It serves no other purpose. It's saying that if you can't easily install the patch, that you are not competant with a computer. Which, incidentally, is not what paying customers want to hear (from anyone) when they're having a problem with the app they bought, and are frustrated. It's a recipe for anger.

Oh, and cleaning up the PDF with better resolution text, bookmarks, etc would be nice.
When I click the "Turn" button and have the Planets tab displayed, it should automatically update that tab--I shouldn't have to click on it again. Otherwise good. :)

Hi. New to this whole thing, and I have a question. I bought the game, downloaded and installed Stardock all last night, and downloaded all the GalCiv files via Download and Archive. Now I'm trying to install the game from archive, and I unzipped the files, but I don't see anything like a setup executable. All that I get in the bottom directory of the unpacking is data.ini and gc1.xml. So I tried hitting 'install' under GalCiv on Stardock, but it's like the app is unaware that I downloa
