I have Vista. The sound cracks on your game and only your game. It does not crack during anything but when screens are up requiring feedback. It is NOT Vista's problem. It's your game's problem or the software you use to make your game. I'm not complaining, but I've seen plenty of forum entries here blaming Vista, or blaming the sound card drivers, and the fact is that as a professional computer programmer, when everyone elses product but mine works.. it's not everyone else's problem. <

This game was purchased in a sealed box inside CompUSA. The jewel case was sealed as well. When I type in the registration number on the "Get Updates" screen, it tells me that they cannot validate my number. It's not stolen. It's the GalCiv II Gold Edition with the Dark Avatar Expansion. I've waited for awhile to buy this. Now I can't update it. I expect something to be done to help me here.
I read over thirty books every month, and I can't understand a word of what you're trying to say. So it must not be for the heavy reader either. J ~SDC~
I think you are doomed to sit outside. Don't leave the UP. Now you can have 0 trade routes :) J ~SDC~
Okay. No multiplayer. Deal. Don't like it? Write your own damn 4x game. Put what you want in it. Add MP. It's not easy, and I say that as a compsci person. As a gamer, I am going to be honest, 4X mutliplayer games blow. It might as well just be 1X, exterminate. And if I want a game where I kill my opponents, I'll just fire up an FPS or an RTS. Alliances mean nothing if things go south in the deal. Be careful what your reputation brings you. Otherwise, you're going to pay for it in enemies who act like friends. One thing I love about this little game is that it treats players like players used to treat AIs. It's brilliant. J ~SDC~
Well now, have you been evil? If you're evil, the good races WILL ally against you, unless you have them largely too scared to attack. Just because the AI is doing to you what you do to them in other 4x games does not mean it's cheating. It simply means you're getting schooled. J ~SDC~
I think you're missing something, Leto. First off, Moo2 was not this great game that you say it is. It's dry, dull, and extremely easy to beat. Give me creative vs any of the AIs at any level and I win, every single time. That said, if you want a successor to Moo2, why not consider Moo3? Now, in my not so humble opinion, even Infogrames knows the MOO line is dead when they put an ad in my Moo3 box that says "Take Back the Galaxy March 26!" The only thi
