"I've noticed a similar problem with the ship name on the ship info screen, FWIW." David has a good point. If I want to give an alien civ a ship, the display gets cut off with long ship names and I can't see the number of the ship easily, forcing me to double click on it to find out. If I want to give a STACK of ships, it turns into a real pain. Can I suggest cutting off the "USS" part of the name of the ship for this area? It's a cheap fix and it won't work in all cases b

Thanks for the responses. "there will be a way to create .mdl files with your own images" This sounds less flexible than editing existing mdl's. What if you just want to change one or two things and leave the rest as it is? Ah well, I guess we'll find out when we get there... DeanCo--
