I don't know if it will help much but similar questions were asked in [link="https://www.wincustomize.com/articles.aspx?aid=164074"] this [/link] article. There doesn't seem to have ever been a definitive answer. :NOTSURE:

I don't recall there being as many hardware/driver issues with XP when it came out as there seem to be with Vista; as far as the problems of a user's existing peripherals and/or software being incompatible with Vista.
Transparency is assumed on the UIS2 frames unless NoShape = 1 is set.
Thanks, Neil :)
However, in SKS 6 in the UIS2 frame section, there does not appear to be a way to set transparency.
Not seeing it here either. So where do you enable transparency for UIS2 frames in SKS6? ... aside from coding it in ... this version is supposed to be easier to use for the beginner skinner, remember? ;)
I wonder if Jafo is behind that site? ... hmmm  ;)
(Citizen)Pugboy January 14, 2008 20:33:05 Reply #7
First link 32146 days and some change ... talk about taking a coffee break!
Psst ... you're not old until you're past 50

I think you mean 70.
Nope ... I was informed by my 8 year old that 50 was officially old
I'm sure you can use it in WB6 ... finding a copy will be the trick.
According to [link="https://www.wincustomize.com/Articles.aspx?AID=88234"] this [/link] article, Aura came with WindowBlinds 5. Unfortunately, installing Windowblinds 6 deletes all the skins that come with WB5 and apparently they aren't in the library either. OTT - What can't the Stardock skins that are lost on upgrades, get added to the library by Stardock since they are the author of those skins.
Happy Birthday, John! :CONGRAT: Psst ... you're not old until you're past 50
I thought I got by without anyone noticing.
No such luck! ;)
On the start menu, when I mouse over the "log off" "turn off computer" and "all programs", it's blue(yuk). I can't figure out how to change that. Is there a way?
2of3 is right, the color to change is Menu Highlight.
Congrats Bebi! :CONGRAT: :HOT:
Agreed and granted. I'll see if I can't get the guidelines added in the next release of WC.
:CONGRAT: :HOT:

Hey Quentin ... your 'Wincustomize Guidelines' link gives a '404' ;) Nice tutorial, though :)
Those make Windows seem so ... peaceful
It would be helpful if more folks followed the guidelines set above
Perhaps if those guidelines were posted on the upload page for screenshots, more people would be aware of them. As it is, this thread is probably the only place those guidelines have been announced and a lot of folks may not see them or be aware they exist. Kudos to you, HG ;)
It would be nice to have the 'losing your place in a thread problem' fixed. You know, the annoying problem where the thread you've been keeping up with for umpteen pages and WC decides you've never been there before and puts you at the beginning of the thread instead of where you last left off?
I tried it on a skin I had for a test and it was not visible. The skin seemed ok as far as operation. I offset it -30 pixels
What am I missing? Where does 23 come into the mix?
Shh! ixnay on the twothree  It shows when I enable tree view in SKS6 right under 'Explorer and IE'. It contains 'Drag and Drop' and 'Aero Wizard Arrows'.
jazzymjr With perpixel frames, menubars aren't skinned anymore other than the coloring.
Shhh . . that's secret beta talk.
;)
