Hey. I'm a new player to the game and still learning what there is to know about the game (just got my copy a few days ago) and still on the lowest AI level. I got myself stabbed in the back by those double-crossers and my so-called friend the Altarians. I attacked the Torians, who apparently the Altarians were allied with as well (me and the Altarians were also allies at the current time). I was informed that they regretably had to break our alliance and declare war on me, and after all I have

After keeping in touch with Maria Lorezo, Strategy First's Product Placement Manager, for a little over a week now, she has informed me that On Cue has just picked up Galactic Civilizations and should have it any day now, and that Walmart will be picking it up next month when the May remix comes out. As soon as I heard the news, I contacted my local On Cue store, and they put it on special order for me, and informed that they should have the game in for me to pick up in a week or t
Here's a bug another member in the forum pointed out. I just want to make sure it receives all due attention from Frogboy and the other devs. "I chose +50% military ability for 6 points. Using the economic sliders 1/3 each yields as many military and social prod. units - shouldn't it be +50% in the military shields? In the planet view it reads 3 + 0, no bonus shields! Putting the economic sliders
*bump* :)
That's what I've heard on past posts, too, Delric. I think Frogboy himself even mentioned that you should install SDC before you install the GalCiv game.
No prob :)
I don't have the game quite yet (should be getting it sometime next week), but from what I've heard in other posts, it sounds like you should download the Stardock program BEFORE you download the GalCiv program.
I first heard of it in the ad that came in the MOO3 box, and decided to check into when there was an ad on gamespot.com for GalCiv about two or three weeks ago.
Sorry. I mean for the United States, in Nebraska.
I've been looking forward to this game for several weeks now. The problem is, I can't find this game at any local retail store. I've checked several times this week at Walmart, they don't have it on stock. I've checked at Sam Goody/On Cue, they don't even have it in their New Releases records. I've checked at walmart.com and kmart.com, and they don't have it listed anywhere on those sites. It's strange that my Walmart didn't have it, as I'm in a city of around 20,000 people, wi
