I too was a Moo fan until Moo3 came out. I like GalCiv, it's a lot different from Moo but I can play the game and love all the updates. But I stil play Moo.. but only Moo2.

Told tech support about my problem.. It's working now. Hopes this helps you also. Thanks tech support. You didn't by any chance have a previous beta version of the game installed? If so, please make sure to delete that prior to installing the release. The error with the update is most likely the result of a corrupted download somehow. Is anybody going to help me with my problem???? Been trying to install the update for 3days. No go. When I try to update the game, this is what I got. An I/O error occurred while installing a file. This is normally caused by a bad installation media or a corrupt installation file. abort or retry? copying files.... c:\..\Galactic civilizations\ecent music\spy.mp3 38% done. When I click abort, another message.. Corrupt installation file! Then it goes back to 36% comp

I just got the game last night and the installation went smooth. When I click on the icon to play the game, the game screen comes up with different options. I click to play the game and few seconds later, it kicks me back to windows. I try again and still the same thing. Back to windows. I updated the video driver. I cannot play the game. Hope this is not "Master of Orion 3" I hate that game. But I do play moo2.
