Production questions in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

I also posted this on the newsgroup... so i apologise if you had to read it twice but... Whenever I play, I notice that the AI races planets' all have huge production compared to mine. I tried to focus on production research and infrastructure, and managed to do ok, but if it wasn't for a huge class 25 planet I had... everythign would still have taken far too long to produce. Does anyone have some strategys for improving production? So far i've 1) built starbases w

I haven't been able to find the PDF manual... is it different from the HTML manual in the 'Encyclopedia' section (plese.. let it be better...) and if so... where can you get it? I've downloaded and installed the game... no manual found.... ?

just click on the colony ship, and then left click on the destination. It should move automatically after that.
