Is there a problem with saved games in the latest version (1.0X.009)? While playing tonight I loaded a quicksave, purchased a ship on a planet, hit the turn button but nothing built. The ship still said zero turns left. Next turn it built, but it appears that no production occured on the turn after the load, all the power graphs had a dip down to zero in them. I kept playing the game. Later on I loaded from a quicksave (due to a ship construction crash) and suddenly the borders were r

I know it's been mentioned, but the thing where other races build trade goods that I'm supposed to have a monopoly on is really starting to irk me. One another issue, does anyone else have problem submitting to the metaverse? I submitted my first game but since then it crashes every time I try (haven't tried with the latest patch yet though). ~SDC~
"How is your method not increasing micromanagement if you have to go through every single planet with an empty build queue to setup the proper production transfer?" It's not increasing micromanagment since it's using the same exact controls that are used currently to change production. In a normal situation you won't ever have some big list of planets producing nothing since when you complete the last project in the list and you are prompted what to build next, you select one of the new
oops again "If the fact that there is no build time associated with them" should read If the fact that there is no build time associated with them presents a problem. ~SDC~
There would indeed be no extra micromanagement in my suggestion. The two options would behave exactly like any other option on the military or social build list. There would be no new controls to deal with. Since they are build list items like any other they would be available to the governors. If the fact that there is no build time associated with them, make a few options. For example (Technology - 5 turns) (Technology - 20 turns) (Technology - indefinite). Currently if you want to ch
oops, let me try that again. My solution: Add the following options on the Military production list: (Social Production) (Technology) Choosing the option transfers your military production (with a possibly penatly reducing it) to social production or technology. Add similar options to the social production list. Clean, simple, no extra micromanagment. You can use it however you want, to avoid losing production if there's nothing left to
