Trying to usurp power over a minor faction via bribing their ruling 'whatever' could result in the minor faction wanting to call in the other major player to help maintain their sovereignty from would-be aggressors trying to steal their freedom. Because even though these days 'we' might be used to ultra-corrupt and degenerate people in some countries leadership being puppeteered by money oligarchs, the oligarchs that do the puppeteering and the drama those officials play, is one thing, the re

I tried the new update, including the temporary one where some game settings were impossible to change :P I play constantly on the highest difficulty without planets rotating most of the time to make it easier for AI to attack. Few months ago it was normal to meet a 400 fleet followed by a 800 close behind, then in a few minutes 1500+. There seems to be a heavy resource mismanagement. I also watched a replay from AI perspective, sometimes it was constantly buying, selling thin
I've never seen game marketing where a pre alpha game is sold as finished. You'd have to be an eagle eye to know this game is far from done, the pricing and NO mention on Epic or this page that it is in development. Shame on Stardock.
I think youre wrong on calling it pre-alpha. But I guess you guys have an agenda anyway. For SOME reason, I received this game in development 11
Vasari can have 2200. However, It does seem like carrier cap ship lv6 skill can replicate things that seem to increase the pop temporarily. How you can still I think, go over 2k is calling in pirate reinforcements via the auctions. Those are 140 pop per pack afaik, so going to 2K and then popping a few waves can mean you go to say 2800.
Thank you. That's comforting (I guess). It seems like it should be much more obvious that this is an early access game so expectations can be set accordingly. I hope that Stardock and Ironclad Games do as good a job as the original. Thank you for the response.
It came to early access late last year. In many cases, old game was put into new engine, only TEC loyal faction was present. Economy was such that
Quoting TomaSkTemplar, reply 11 So, it is not that they did nothing wrong, because nothing wrong would mean flawless scripting, no bugs, no broken placeholders. That is clearly incorrect. The game is in early access. By definition, nothing is fini
Yes... I said the exact same thing no matter what type of game you play or how many enemies, it is choosing the closest spawn points to you first.
I misread your post apparently :P
Nope, they indicated quite often that the current starbase is a complete placeholder. They didn't forget to do anything, nor did they do anything wrong or anything else.
Well, nothing on this forum afaik, so any indications on that chaotic discord thing ? Well, too bad. I saw nothing. You say they didnt do anything wrong, wel
I was wondering a bit, if Gauss item, when it is gonna get fixed, meaning, be buildable again, (I saw AI was able to build it) whether it will be also be buildable more than 1 piece at a time. I hope it remains :) is there a logic to it that you have more 'Gauss-Gauss' slugs it gets even more pen and damage ? ('Super-heavy') I guess not, but if we get a limit like most other weapon upgrades get, like with missile aura, range not stacking, ship like Kol, that either goes for a beam for offense
I guess I wasnt clear enough: play a 1v1 in a size 4+ map. For a fixed map, chose Shuriken without planet rotation, so that there is no guessing where who started. Not 3 players. 1.
sorry for the late reply, I wrote 1.1-1.2 combat effective was HP/armor/dps movement whatever, combined compared to base. Invoking WW1 Lancaster as if I was ignorant of Numbers having quality their own ? :) Im no ignoramus, but I do not like it when some people expect me to be 12 and try to explain how 1+1 is not 2. Or is, because they feel like it. So, I consider my own argumentation sound. Especially since how a single basic ship is pretty inconsequential.
I personally do not like how the new repair station for TEC looks. It reminds me of some sort of skeleton.
As an example, start a 4 player map, Shuriken with just 1 opposing AI. I can guarantee to you that it will never start on the opposing side of the map. Try starting the game, say 5 times, 10 times. Theyre never, not once on opposing side, always the closest spawn.
200 armor given to bombers, is a lot especialy since any weapons able to hit them have very low penetratiion. TEC starbase weapons, the base weapons seem overnerfed. Vasari starbase is roughly comparable to previously strong TEC starbase. TEC base defense now has about 5 dps, nerf from ? 20? (I dont remember) but it had 4 weapons of said DPS. I do realize HP counts were brought down to SoaSE:R levels Gauss defense has now like 15 dps, compared to 5 ? Gr
I think it still happens, you start on a 5 player map, a 1v1 game, from me trying the new version, I didnt see them being exactly on the other side.
squadron and slugs have in common, that they are 'allowed' to be made in ships that cant use them. They show up in build menus, but menus say the ships cant use those. That means, instead of NOT buildable, they are 'buildable' in ships that cant build those and those that have gauss guns ? They cant.
Basic units do have or count kills, so while heroes - capships - take the exp from grav well, units doing the kills (missiles excluded hopefully) should be getting something. Non-capships in general will still get destroyed. If vetting it up renders that one unit 1.1-1.2 combat effective, it is not terrible. This is the thing that killed most rts fun - RA2, RA3 or CnC3 had rather impactful bonuses. However those were tied to value of stuff they destroyed, usually 3x-9x their o
If 6 player map, a player starts at 12 hours, the other start consistently not at 6 o clock.but 2 o clock. Thus much of the map is difficult to use especially at max difficulty. ..... Are added build slots like 70 military and civilian at one planet at higher difficulty a bug, or feature ? ... when removing planetary slots that you bought from minor factions, you get no partial refunds like with military +4 lab.
(When playing as TEC rebels, you have them at T3 asteroid planet slot) The corsair has 3 weapon types, missile weapon has the longest range, I think it should be possible to fire them on the move and close in to fire the light and medium guns as well. If engaging targets that do not come closer to the pirate heavy cruiser, the ship fires only missiles. With upgrades to range increase, automatic targeting can make it less likely the ships do get to use their full arsenal.
You upgrade the weapon - nothing as in a visible weapon becomes visible. (compared to PD, Missile upgrades) There is a statistic, that says that the titan has another - stats-wise another Gauss gun. (100 pen) But no projectile seems to be visible, as well as no weapon is visible from which the rail gun projectile should be firing. I suspect that the weapon is not added, except in statistics and for making the sniping skill stronger. That i
I tried the kol beam yet again and my first kol that I started using at the start lost its damage and graphical effect 40 minutes in the game. Sometimes it happens sooner, sometimes later. As I wrote above, the ability bugs out consistently.
This bug was there even in december when I first played. It is not about the effect not showing. Cooldown is started, the thing supposedly fires, but neither the visual, nor damage happens. It randomly stops working and once it stops it cant fire again, until you level the skill up. (temporary fix) And even that sometimes does not work. If memory serves right, given enough time, it would always stop working. That means, I nev
space pyramids ? xD they look similar to the one on the dollar since 1913 I think. In any case, some people dont understand, it tends to identify a cult, a group of those who think they ate all wisdom and that there was none left for the rest. Such is their wisdom that they cant decide if 1+1 is 3 or 4 the next day. Those kinds of wisdom tend to come with things like fish lens to prove their new scientism, the wisdom of a 2D reality. Because, the scientismic consensus - them as scient
since except myself nobody replied, I will clarify some things for you. to cancel in progress buildings, right click the icon on the menu that allowed you to build it in the first lace. Not the queue itself. You replace planetary buildings by dragging those things out of the slot by mouse. Same applies to replacing cap ship and starbase equipment slots.(start with exp slot for 30-55-80% exp bonus) Current exp rewards for ships are the same as in SoaSE:R - they should b
As for voice commands, well, I do not have any microphone/camera/wifi and I do not want to be showing everywhere my location, especially with the internet being used like a giant Stasi/KGB espionage network except based on the other side of the world. Offline would solve this partially. Expect that everything is being spied on, so you dont do wrong by NOT going online. Its not for my safety, more like against it. Theyre not my boss, even if theyd like to think they are. They will be swept awa
