First game musing and questions in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

I'm halfway through my first game, and I'm enjoying it a lot. The AI is set pretty low, so I'm finding it pretty easy. But here's some questions. 1) What do I do with my military? I've got 3 Defenders on each planet, and a big fleet of Corvettes a few turns away (gonna wipe out one of the minor races). But this whole time I've been cranking out Constructors non-stop. I've got 5 starbases, all with several upgrades. It seems almost too easy.... am I missing something? Does this free

I had the same problem. It's actually not a problem of the CD. I installed it just fine on other computers. There's something busted with my CD or HD (probably same with yours). I worked around it by downloading StarDock Central and installing the game online. The serial number you have on your CD will work, so you can just download it without having to buy it again.
