Well, the race I traded the system to, the Yor, are the same race I have all of my trade routes with because they're furthest away. I haven't tried to buy anything, they don't have any techs that I don't and I don't know if I dare to take any of their ships considering how hard they're being pressed. I'll give that a shot though, see if I can find a scout ship or something and buy it for a rediculous amount.

I've been playing for about a week now, and usually take the evil routes because the options are just so much more fun. Usually though, when I'm evil, either everyone hates me or I get the fundamentalists event. So I started a game with everyone good except the furry red guys (Drengins?) who were pure evil.
