Adding my vote to some another suggestion: + Patrol points for my ships in auto-attack mode. And something that was getting me last night: + Allow me to assign ships to escort trade lanes. I want the ships to escort the traders, not just patrol, because if they're patrolling they may not be near the trader when it is attacked.

With everyone wanting so many different things it will be difficult to keep everyone happy. If you include a scripting engine and expose an object model with simple operations such as being able to adjust the economy sliders, launch and move ships, etc, we could program our own simple governors and launch only those ship types we want (my defense ships should stay in orbit where they were built, but my battleships should rally on my frontier...) If you use something like the fr
Thanks for that - it explains why I am getting so many crashes, so often! I have 98SE and SB Live! value card too. ~SDC~
I have this problem too! It is really frustrating. The game crashed about every 20 minutes while I was trying to play yesterday. Sometimes to the desktop, sometimes rebooting. Some of my save games are also corrupt, although they seem to be the autosave ones. I asked to restore my last civ and it rebooted, then I loaded a game by selecting it myself and it worked better. I get other load corruptions too... sometimes the interface comes up and it is mostly blank, then crashs as soon as I
* Adjust things so empty military and social queues don't just waste all your production. * Make the planet list refresh each turn. * Show the current military and social production values, and current income/expenses on the planet list; I find it difficult to know which of my planets are really good producers or which to make my economic capital etc. * Display the income/expenditure at the bottom left. * Rally point for new ships. * Auto explor
I was leaving a lot of my planet's queues empty, assuming what was saved there would be redistributed! :sniff!: I can see you don't want to allow a player to shutdown production on all planets to get one planet really moving, but wouldn't the maximum usable production on a planet be limited by it's population and some other variables anyway? I think option (B) is about the best, and certainly better than having the production just disappear. ~SDC~
