I got a message saying that the current war with the Altarians was bleeding my empire to death. The funny thing was I had not even engaged or been engaged by the Altarians since the start of the war (about 40 turns prior). They declared war on me after a random event but never attacked me (I was after all the most powerful empire in the galaxy). It was kinda like a small barking dog acting tough.

I just recently ran into the same problem. My transports and combat transports were invisible but when I restarted my save game the next day everything was back to normal. Most of the comments on this problem have been "close out and restart the game".

I just ran into the invisible ship problem. I can no longer see Combat Transports, Transports, Starfighters and Frigates in my game. Makes it pretty hard to invade when I can't see my ships. I never ran into this bug in any previous version.
