Congrats on your nice victory. :) I think you first need to register an alias to use in the metaverse for it to give you the option to submit the score. Then make sure you use the exact same alias when you try to submit it or it will not register the score either. Neways hope this helps.

What techs do you and the other race need to have to form an alliance? On the diplomacy screen I only have treaty and attack or peace options. Fairly far along in the game and even gave a bunch of tech to the prospective ally, but still no change. Thought maybe a tech near the end of the tech tree might be needed, but now 2 other AI have an alliance clearly in place. I'm still able to give ships..planets...techs...money and all that to my "ally" to help them out fighting the other 2 AI allie

"I've followed all the instructions in the link for registering. Stardock central shows that I've got GalCiv 1.01 installed and that I can update to 1.01a. When I click update it tries to download 84 MEGS worth of crap!" Merf, I had a similar prob with my retail version trying to download the 80mb file a few days back. What I ended up doing is uninstalling Stardock and then reinstalling the game from the CD. Then go ahead and add Stardock and register and then do all game updates from

1.01.029 is what it says I have at Stardock Central after doing what you said. When I click the history on my version in the margin on the left it does list 1.01A.30 as the latest added...so am I up to date then? :notsure:

Well....it says what version you have from the menu after you start a game, but mine still says 1.01 and I don't seem to see any other patches\add-ons from stardock central. I have a retail version from EB and not sure what to do either? :(
