That would be nice! Peregrine, thanks for the help man, found the templates exactly where you said. I'd also like to see that when you mark a ship as obsolete that it no longer shows you any of the upgraded versions of that same ship as you research techs. My finger is getting cramped from having to to click 10 versions of each type hip and hit obsolete.
I created a few ship templates before I really knew what I was doing and now I have a bunch of junk templates I want to get rid of. The problem is I don't know how. I know this is probably a really dumb question but for the life of me I can't find where in the game to delete the template. I even went into the designs folder under steamapps/galciv/etc. and saw all of the premade ship designs but did not find mine listed in there so I could delete it. Any hel

Hey there, I have the same or a similar issue. I don't think it has anything to do with loading though. I started a brand new game, went into the designer as terrans. The part I picked had lots of blue lights like windows or what not. I added the part and it showed up white when i actually added it to the ship. It does this for almost all parts, it whatever the color is on the little icon on the menu is lost when I actually attach it to the ship.
